We hope you will join us for “Faking Christmas” by Kerry Winfrey, a Ohio based holiday rom-com. Book club virtual meetings will be held on Thursdays – October 24, November 7 and 21, and December 5, from 6 – 7 PM. If you can’t make a meeting live, recordings will be sent out after each meeting. No need to have started the book before our October 24 meeting – this meeting will be to lay out the schedule and share a little content.
Topics to be covered during meetings include the benefits of shopping local, being prepared for winter emergencies, dealing with change (and your holiday plans), and when your white lies spin out of control. Don’t be surprised if a few holidays treats make their way into meetings.
To sign up go to go.osu.edu/fcsbookclub you will receive login details approximately October 21.
Copies of “Faking Christmas” are available through local libraries in Ohio as well as typical book vendors. Thank you to everyone who filled out our mid-year Book Worms survey. Winning copies of “Faking Christmas” go to the following people, drawn from those who responded – Rhonda Ebert, Karen Frank, Susan Holobaugh, Susan Brady, Janet Taylor, and Michelle Treber. If you don’t need a copy (can’t join us this time or already have one) please contact Lisa so that we can pass your book along to someone else.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at our next meeting.
