  2. Southeastern Ohio Hay Day 2018

    Southeastern Ohio Hay Day returns in 2018.  This field day will offer demonstrationsof hay harvesting equipment,
    tradeshow exhibits, educational presentations, dinner, and door prizes.  Admission is free and open to the public.
    For accommodation purposes, advance registrarion is appreciated by June 11.  Mark you calendar and watch
    for future announcements at forages.osu.edu/events.

  5. 2018 Dining with Diabetes

    Dining with Diabetes is a series of four classes conducted by OSU Extension and Ohio University. This program helps individuals learn strategies to manage their diabetes through menu planning, carbohydrate counting, portion control, and label reading.  Participants have the opportunity to sample healthy foods made utilizing concepts taught. You'll learn how to incorporate good, healthy cooking techniques and other practices to help control your blood sugar. Registar early space is limited. Classes start March 2018

     

  6. 2018 Master Gardener Training

    If you enjoy gardening and are looking for a way to give back to your community, then becoming a Master Gardener Volunteer (MGV) may be just the thing for you. Beginning in February, Perry and Morgan Extension will be offering Master Gardener training. This program provides intensive training in horticulture to interested Ohio residents who then volunteer their time assisting with educational programs and activities for residents through their local OSU Extension county office. Volunteers are not required to have gardening skills or knowledge.

    Mission:
    "Our mission is to empower farm and ranch women to be better business partners through networks and by managing and organizing critical information".

    Annie’s  Project was designed by her daughter to provide risk management education for women involved in all  
    aspects of the agriculture  industry. Since 2000, well over 5,000 women have completed the workshop.
